Woman hit, killed by oncoming car while walking on I-85 Business after argument in NC, police say

Superior Place, N.C. (WGHP) — A woman was strike and killed even though walking on Interstate 85 Business enterprise just after an argument, according to Significant Stage law enforcement.

At 11:28 p.m. Saturday, police responded to a report of a pedestrian strike by a car or truck on Interstate 85 Small business, in close proximity to the I-74 interchange.

At the scene, officers discovered 44-year-outdated Charmaine Denise Bostick, of Large Place, laying on the median.

Investigators feel Bostick had been driving north on I-85 Company with a companion when they acquired into an argument. Bostick pulled over to the northbound shoulder, parked and obtained out of the vehicle. She walked across the northbound lanes and the median and started going for walks south in the southbound lanes.

Bostick suffered severe injuries and died at the scene. the driver was not hurt.
