CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) – A teenager is recovering after being shot in an east Charlotte neighborhood Wednesday, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police said.
Officers responded to the incident Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 30, near 2000 Lanza Drive. A victim was found suffering from gunshot wounds and was transported to an area medical center with non-life-threatening injuries.
CMPD later identified the victim as a 17-year-old. The teen is listed in stable condition.
There is no mention of a suspect or exactly how the victim was shot, and this remains an active investigation.
