TROUP COUNTY, Ga. (WRBL) – A Fort Bragg soldier is experiencing various rates, like murder, in the killing of his girlfriend and 33-7 days-old unborn boy or girl in Troup County, Georgia.
According to deputies with the Troup County Sheriff’s Business office, Alonzo Dargan, Jr. has been arrested in North Carolina in relationship to the murder of 29-year-old Akeila Ware.
Deputies claimed Dargan was the father of Ware’s unborn little one, and Dargan and Ware have been in a romantic relationship at the time of the taking pictures. Ware was 33-weeks expecting when she was killed, in accordance to the sheriff’s office environment.
Ware was learned in significant ailment on Tuesday Oct. 5, 2021 when deputies with the Troup County Sheriff’s Office environment and other initially responders had been dispatched to Freeway 18 around E. Drummond Road for what appeared to be a single-car incident with possible accidents.
At that time, initial responders learned that Ware has not only been included in a wreck, but experienced also been shot various instances. She was taken to a hospital in Columbus, wherever she died.
Evidence from a second motor vehicle involved in the wreck was determined as currently being from a silver Nissan and was utilized to keep track of down Dargan, with the help of the Georgia State Patrol.
Dargan is currently being charged with murder, feticide, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Dargan is staying held in the Cumberland County Jail in North Carolina awaiting extradition again to Troup County.
