ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. Community Charlotte News — All but 1 member of the Rowan-Salisbury Board of Schooling voted Monday to increase the mask mandate for the university district right up until Monday, Oct 25. They will reevaluate the mandate at that time.
The determination comes as COVID-19 costs continue being substantial throughout the nation, and an enhance in the distribute of the delta variant.
As of Monday morning, the district claimed 42 active scholar conditions and 4 current staff cases, which account for .23% and .16% respectively. At present, 658 learners are quarantined or isolated (3.60% of college students) and 16 staff members are quarantined or isolated (.63% of personnel).
