Rowan County deputy dies due to COVID-19

ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. Regional Charlotte Information — The Rowan County Sheriff’s Business says a deputy has died because of to COVID-19.

The Sheriff’s Workplace suggests Learn Deputy William (Billy) Marsh handed absent early Sunday morning. He had been hospitalized because of to COVID because September 30, 2021.

Master Deputy Marsh was sworn in with the Rowan County Sheriff’s Place of work in 2012 as a Reserve Deputy, though also performing at the Cleveland Law enforcement Section as a total-time officer. 

He grew to become a entire-time Deputy with the RCSO in 2015. The Sheriff’s Business office claims he was a revered, trustworthy,  and hardworking Deputy.

He is survived by a wife and two-12 months-previous baby.
