CHARLOTTE, N.C. (FOX 46 CHARLOTTE – Protests have damaged out Friday at a large school in Charlotte more than an alleged sexual assault.
Students have collected outside the house Olympic Substantial College exactly where they explain to FOX 46 they want their voices heard right after a student at the university was charged as a juvenile in connection to a noted assault.
Archive footage from FOX 46 demonstrates an Olympic High University soccer player in an ankle check at previous week’s game. This has been a level of contention amid the college students.
Two sources notify FOX 46 that this is the pupil accused in this sexual assault situation. Even so, because he is a juvenile, FOX 46 is not determining him.
The 15-yr-old scholar has been charged with attempted second-degree rape, 2nd-degree kidnapping, and sexual battery.
Learners at Olympic Substantial College are not joyful that the accused pupil continues to be at the college, and neither are some nearby mothers and fathers. FOX 46 has spoken with some of them who reported they aid why their young ones are out of course and protesting on Friday.
