FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. Information – A Fayetteville police officer was hurt in a strike-and-operate Tuesday night time and a suspect was captured after a chase that ended downtown, the department reported in a information launch.
Officers ended up dispatched to a described hit-and-run together the 800 block of Beuer Push just soon after 8 p.m. Tuesday. The suspect automobile returned to the scene although officers had been investigating.
An officer confronted the suspect and was then struck and dragged down the highway, police reported.
The officer’s injuries were being not lifetime-threatening, the release reported.
Other responding officers discovered the suspect’s auto together Cliffdale Street and attempted to end it. They pursued the vehicle right up until the suspect was apprehended in downtown Fayetteville.
