North Carolina Nazi: Asheville's Pelley spread his fascist influence

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Queen City News anchor Brien Blakely talks with North Carolina historians about the impact of one Asheville man as he worked to spread hate and fascism throughout the country. The Great Depression in 1929 influenced William Dudley Pelley and he went on to spread fascism throughout the country. Pelley died in 1965.
