RALEIGH, N.C. Community Charlotte Information – A pace enforcement task by Raleigh law enforcement and the Freeway Patrol resulted in dozens of citations being issued on Tuesday.
Raleigh law enforcement tweeted on Monday about the partnership.
“Dashing is a risk to general public protection and increases the chance of crashes that may well consequence in serious damage and/or death.”
The Freeway Patrol followed up on Tuesday and claimed troopers labored with Raleigh law enforcement on Interstate-540 in Wake County.
Troopers and officers issued far more than 40 rushing citations in significantly less than two several hours, the Freeway Patrol said.
“Be sure to obey the speed limit and be sure to go more than for stopped unexpected emergency automobiles,” the Highway Patrol explained.
Neither company said if other enforcement jobs will occur.
