ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. Regional Charlotte — The supervisor of a Greenback Standard retail outlet fought back and grabbed a machete from a thief who needed the store’s secure open during a theft Saturday in Rocky Mount, police said.
The incident was reported all over 2:50 p.m. at the Greenback Standard at 2288 W. Raleigh Blvd., in accordance to a information launch from Rocky Mount law enforcement.
The incident commenced when a man dressed in black and carrying a machete entered the keep and demanded revenue from the cash register, police reported.
