CAMARILLO, Calif. (AP) — The regular U.S. selling price of typical-quality gasoline jumped 6 cents more than the past two weeks, to $3.31 for every gallon.
That’s $1.07 much more than a calendar year back.
Industry analyst Trilby Lundberg of the Lundberg Survey mentioned Sunday the increase comes as the price of crude oil raises and demand goes up in Europe, in which refineries are switching from burning fuel to oil-based mostly fuels.
Nationwide, the best common selling price for typical-grade gas is in the San Francisco Bay Space, at $4.55 for each gallon. The least expensive normal is in Houston, at $2.77 for each gallon.
In accordance to the survey, the typical selling price of diesel jumped 11 cents to $3.45 a gallon.
