BISHOPVILLE, S.C. (AP) — A single man was killed early Sunday in a capturing in the parking lot of a Waffle Household in close proximity to a South Carolina interstate that also injured four people today inside of the cafe, Lee County Sheriff Daniel Simon reported.
The staff and a few clients inside of the restaurant at the U.S. Freeway 15 exit on Interstate 20 in Bishopville are predicted to endure the capturing all around 4 a.m., the sheriff explained to The Affiliated Press.
No arrests have been built, Simon stated.
Early interviews with witnesses reveal gangs may well have been concerned and the shooting may be in retaliation for another capturing a couple of months in the past at a close by gasoline station, explained Simon, who included investigators are trying to verify that information.
“People had been a little unwilling at first, but they started talking and we’re pursuing potential customers,” the sheriff claimed.
